PATTERNS provide clear written instructions, along with color charts for each colorway, to knit a pair of mittens. Each mitten is charted in 3 sizes; the large is designed to fit a large man’s hand; the medium, a small man’s or large woman’s hand; and the small, a small woman’s or large child’s hand. Mittens are knit from finger-tip to cuff.
NEEDLES: Each design uses a set of five 3.5mm (US 4) double pointed needles and optional 16” circular for part of the cuff (or size for knitting to gauge). Note: these mittens cannot be knit using 4 dpns.
GAUGE: 6 sts = one inch
YARN: Rauma Strikkegarn (100% dk wool; 50 gram skein = 105 meters). Substitute any dk weight yarn with the same gauge.
